Okay, since I'm posting this thread.... I'll go first.


You know you're obsessed with Harry Potter when you sing Here In Your Car to your cat at 2:28 in the morning.


haha, yes I know I'm crazy. Anyhow, continue on.

-when you can quote scenes from the movie
-when you cry over your favorate charectors dying
-when you conplusly check mugglenet
-when you can have a full on conversation about HP with your best friend during geometry

-when you take your costume for the DH release party so far ( I went as Rita Skeeter... I had the green suit, crocodile purse, the quill, the red lips and nails, etc...) that you almost go back to your natural hair color even though you said you were never going to be blonde again.

-when you create the thread " You know You're Obsessed With Harry Potter When.."

You know you're obsessed when:

-you have HP names as contacts in your cell phone (i.e. The Burrow, Number Twelve, etc.)
-you name your savings account "Gringotts" and your checking account "Mals Galleons". I'm not even kidding, lol.

-when the Valedictions CD by Split Seven Ways makes you cry

(Valedictions CD= a Lily and Snape EP)

-when you haunt HP forums at 3:30 in the morning when normal not obsessed people are asleep

-when you spent a whole week making a Harry Potter shirt for the movie premier and book release

-when you read DH till 4:30am, then wake up 4 hours later because it's too hard to sleep with DH lying by your side

-when you sleep with the book beside your pillow!!

- when you have nothing to do a whole day.......... so you and Google Earth go on a quest to find the exact latitude and longitude of the location of Hogwarts. Needless to say, you didn't find because it is (tear, tear) a mythological place

- Decided to make a website dedicated to Harry Potter.
- If you'll cry when Deathly Hallow's gonna premiere. [I'm sure i'm gonna.]

- you're going to not one but two Wrock performs within two days.
-you get a pin with Daniel Radcliffe at a place selling pins just so you can say "I own a piece of Harry Potter."

You're extremely sad when almost everyone at school stops talking about HP adn thinks it's lame.
And then you go find a HP forum to play on.
YAY!
You have a collection of Harry Potter Trading cards (or you did until your little brother flushed them down the toilet!)

...when you mention the RoR as the coolest place EVER at your Twilight book club

-When you're a member of 4 HP forums

-When you try and write fan fic everyday

-When you dressed up as Deathly Hallows (yes, the actual book) at work on the day we could wear costumes. I painted the cover art on a t-shirt.

-When you drive 3 hours to see OotP in Imax 3-D

-When you have read more fan fic than actual books during the past month

-When you learned to knit just so you could make a Gryffindor scarf.

-When you rushed to finish said scarf so you could wear it to Carnegie Hall

-When you wore said scarf to Carnegie Hall, despite the fact that it was over 70 degrees that day

-You consider the day you met Jo the best night of your life

-You name your fish after HP characters

-You write a 9 page paper for English class about Deathly Hallows

I have more, but I think I'll save them for later.

-Whenever your given a bag of chocolate coins, you go screaming around the house but then sulk for nine day when you realize they're not galeons.
-Whenever your writing the word "gallons" you instinctively write "galleons" and then have to erase it
-When you stay up all night and read Deathly Hallows in 10 hours (i'm guilty of that charge)
-When you make your own copy of the Quibbler to bring to the DH release pary
-When you have a pair of radish earrings

When you have Harry Potter related stuff in your room (like a Gringotts Piggy Bank, A HP frame etc...GUILTY =p)
