I'm in college. I got out middle of May. Linda is in middle school and she's not done until middle of next week. School goes late in NY. It's not officially over until the end of next week. Regents exams start on Tuesday. I'm so glad to be done with all that!

Oh WOW! That is a long time. I hope that they start late at least like mid-September or something.

As for what I am reading now, I am currently rereading The Great Gatsby. One of my all-time favorites!

They start at the beginning of September! Two days after Labor Day. They get a ton of breaks, though, which is why they go so late.

I've never read that before.

I just finished Tithe by Holly Black. Now, I'm in the middle of Just Listen by Sarah Desson.

I almost read Tithe, then Dadf took it and read part of it and found stuff he didn't want me to read. So I never did.
I jsut finished the Voyage of Jerle Shanarra. I love the Shanarra series.

Ok, I'm now reading the (old) book, The Outsiders. I've never read it (written in 1967) or seen the movie (from 1983).

Has anyone read the other Vamp series, like Blue Bloods, House of Night, or Vampire Academy?

No, I havent, my dad is rather anti-vampire. He still thinks Twilight is crapulence, and refers to Breaking Dawn as Breaking Wind. (Ah, blasphemy, BLASPHEMY!) So, I can't really go running around reading other vampire books. I'd still like to read Scott Westerfield's vampire series though, he's a good author. Pretties is my fav.

The only other vampire book that I've read is Interview with a Vampire and it was pretty good.

I didn't know that Scott Westerfield's series were about vampires. I had been planning on reading them because they've been highly recommended and I think there's a sale at the bookstore. I think I need to go get them more quickly now. Haha.

Anyways, I am about to start The Green Mile by Stephen King (I LOVE him )

I haven't read any other vampire books, either. I should find some at the library.

I am currently reading The Wizard Heir and the Psychology of Harry Potter.

I'm taking a tiny break from Twilight and revisiting Mr. Darcy (the one I left starving on a street corner after having met Edward). After Pride & Prejudice I think I'll read The Catcher in the Rye.

I'm rereading Twilight right now... again. But some recommended reads are: Acorna (it's sci-fi, but good), the Magic Circle quartets (there are 2 quartets, they are in the juvenile section at the library, but the characters are just so lovable), and Ink Exchange is really good, it took me a day to read it, I was so involved that I just couldn't put it down. Faerie books in general tend to be pretty good.

I'm planning to starting The Catcher in the Rye because it's the new blurbing book club book from the vlogbrothers!

I've got my brother reading Twilight! He's gonna be a Twiguy, lol
