I thought PoA was amazing. It was such a strong movie in terms of emotions and acting. Plus we were introduced to Sirius, which I thought, Gary Oldman portrayed perfectly.
Also, Daniel's hair looked the most like Harry's in PoA, at least that's what I thought.

I agree! They should have kept it nice an untidy!

I looovvveed OotP, though. Especially the entire scene at the MoM! Everything was done so well!

His hair was too long in GoF and it was too short in OotP. It was perfect in PoA!

I loved the MoM scene as well! I thought the possesion scene was so well done. It was the probably the best scene of the movie.

PoA is probably my favorite movie. I absolutely love Alfonso Carun (sp?)'s directing. I kind of wish he was directing the DH movies.

I think they cut way too much out of OotP. But I saw that one in Imax 3-D, so that kind of off-set the cutting of plot points.

Well OotP was a massive book but I think with the time that they had for the movie that it turned out well enough.

OoTP was the best movie, but they left out a lot, it kind of irritated me.

My favorite would have to be #4. When I get passed all the things they changed (which I always have a hard time doing), I thought it was the most entertaining. Of course, I could be saying this just because I have seen it I don't even know how many times, more so than any of the others.

Although, I have a good feeling about the 6th one...I mean it can't be completely horrible, Qudditch is back!

Ha! I saw it in Imax too...it really did help save the movie. Especially in the ministry [:

The Ministry in IMAX was completely awesome! Very Happy

I had been really psyched about HBP when I heard Quidditch was still in it. But then I heard that neither Fleur or Trelawney will be in it. affraid What is up with that? Without Fleur, how is the whole Lupin/Tonks thing going to come out? I'll be really mad if that isn't in it.

And no Trelawney?! How is Harry going to find out that Snape was the one to overhear the prophecy? Is Neville going to do it since he took over all of Dobby's parts in GoF and OotP? Laughing

Actually, the whole Dobby/Neville thing is going to be interesting in DH. Is Neville going to save Harry and the others from the Malfoy Manor? Rolling Eyes Will he die and then come back in order to kill Nagini? Laughing

As soon as I read your comment about the missing characters for the sixth I went onto IMDB and you're right, they aren't there...how are they going to manage that? What is going to happen with the prophecy?!?!!?

I really don't know what they are going to do without Dobby, and at this point, if people have only seen the movies what are the chances of them remembering a relatively minor part that came about 6 years ago? And they usually try to make novel interpretations so that you didn't have to read the book...Maybe Kreacher will take Dobby's roll, and then Kreacher just wont die...

Well when it comes to discussing the hair styles I definitely liked PoA hair styles the best! Especially Ron's honestly, that was the only year I liked our leading Ginger's hair out of all of the movies.

But if we're talking the actual movies, I would have to say OotP! I loved his directing! He did it so well! When I was watching the movie the parts that he skipped from the book I hardly even noticed! While in all the other movies I noticed every single missing tid bit.

Like I'm still be-grudging Chris Columbus for cutting out Peeves' character! Since he didn't put him in the first two movies none of the directors could put him in any other one either! Which stinks because he had a pretty cool part in the fifth book I think. I'm not belittling Mr. Columbus' directing though aside from the lack of Peeves I thought he did good.

Alfonso... the directing for PoA (don't hate me please!) could've been better in my opinion. Maybe I had such high expectations for this one because it was my all time favorite book out of all 7 (it introduced the Marauders). I was thoroughly dissappointed in the movie... aside from the amazing hair.

I wasn't a huge fan of the 4th movie because it seemed sloppy, like Newell directed it I think... anyways, like Newell didn't really seem to careful about the little things. Then there was there hair... I got a little nauseous when I saw it...

Anyways, don't hate me for disliking 3 so much! I put my hopes up too high and I think that was my problem.

PoA, because of Sirius and the directing was phenominal.

GoF because of the Triwizard Tourney, The Quiddich cup, and Cedric!!!

probably OotP, it was a pretty good adaptation from the book and it made me cry, which is a good thing for me. I'll probably change my mind when HBP comes out though
